Generate QR Itself respects your privacy. We collect only the minimum information required to operate the service.

Analytics

We use a self-hosted instance of Umami to measure aggregated visits. The tracker runs without cookies or personal identifiers and honours the Do Not Track browser setting.

Rate limiting & edge protection

To prevent abuse we enforce rate limiting using the requester's network identifiers, such as IP address or proxy headers. These identifiers are kept transiently in memory for the sliding window and are neither persisted nor shared. Our edge infrastructure applies similar safeguards using the same forwarding information where available.

Cookies

This tool does not set profiling cookies. Analytics is handled via a self-hosted instance of Umami operated by KrystalCode, without sharing data with external vendors.

Data retention

Aggregated analytics records are kept for 12 months and automatically deleted afterwards.
